Agreed, seems like 2 things could be done to deal with this:
1. Limit time on social media/the news
2. Be openly kind to people you encounter for real life. Even small stuff helps.
Recently I started saying nice things to people in public when I think them instead of just keeping them as thoughts. I’d like to think it helps others just a little, but I can tell you for sure it helps me feel better as well.
