Better parenting for sure could help solve a lot of our problems with the youth. The problem is we have been trained to avoid conflict, not just with our kids but in general. It’s “uncomfortable”.
Sometimes it takes a slightly uncomfortable confrontation to put our kids on the right path, they’ll be better off for it down the road. Like you said it’s our job to raise them right not be their best friend.
