If you are not reading 1–2 books a month at least, then you are missing out on a tremendous opportunity to gain useful knowledge and learn from the mistakes others have made who are where you want to be.

I’d like to share with you the 3 most memorable books I read this year that helped me become a much happier and successful person. Hopefully, they can do the same for you.

Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss

Book category: Business/Negotiating

The subheader of this book is “negotiating as if your life depended on it”, and that is exactly what the author did for 24 years during his tenure as an FBI hostage negotiator. The main premise here is that when entering into a negotiation, you want to get as many “no” answers as you can, turn your problem into the other party’s problem, and get them to say the magical phrase “That’s right”.

If you are looking for an extremely helpful tool (that has 4.8 stars on amazon ratings with 30k reviews) on negotiating in business and in life, this book is for you.
