You only have so much time, use it wisely.

As I have gotten a little older, I have come to realize more and more how time can slip away if you aren’t aware of it.

We all have the same amount of time in a day, but the reason some people are more “successful” or “happy” is because they devote more of their time to activities that get them there. For me, this really didn’t fully sink in until the birth of my daughter.

As she is getting older, she requires more attention and care (which I totally want and am willing to give her, I refuse to be a degenerate parent). Additionally, there are quite a few things that require my time and attention as well, this list includes but is not limited to:

  • Connecting with and bettering the relationship with my wife
  • My job
  • Writing
  • Cooking
  • Refining Cloud Computing skills
  • Physical training/working out
  • Maintaining our house/yard

As you can see, once you become a grown up the list of things that need to get done start to pile up a little bit. Don’t be in a rush to grow up kids!

In order to become the best possible person that I can be, I need to make better decisions…
